Removing the HDD / ODD carrier

 

Before removing the HDD/ODD carrier, you should loosen the rear plate by unscrewing the screws shown below, this allows the rear plate to flex outwards, which will assist removing / replacing the HDD/ODD plate, especially if you are using a PCIex card.

 

 

To remove the HDD/ODD plate, unscrew the 4x screws as shown below :
